Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms apply to CeremonyMade (the "service"), run by Ricardo Perez Twerdy, trading as CeremonyMade, NIF 48783587N, Calle Acacia 9, 03699 Alicante (Alicante), Spain ("we", "us"). By creating a preview or buying a kit you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What the service does

The service helps the person officiating a wedding prepare the ceremony. From the answers you give us, it writes a ceremony script and prepares related documents: a run sheet, rehearsal notes, vow prompts and a program (together, the "kit"). With the Signature package the kit also includes a second version of the script in another tone, an original reading written from your answers (with a short tribute when someone is being remembered), and up to two rewrites of a script after delivery, each written from a change you describe in your own words. Before you pay you can see a free preview: the outline of your ceremony with timings, its opening and part of the couple's story.

The kit is drafted by our writing software, which uses an AI model, from what you tell us. It is checked against your answers before delivery, but it can still contain mistakes. Please read every document before the ceremony and correct anything that isn't right.

2. Not legal advice; not an ordination

Marriage laws differ by state and sometimes by county. We don't give legal advice, we don't ordain or register officiants, and we don't tell you whether you may officiate or what a ceremony must include to be valid. The script contains customary wording for the declaration of intent and the pronouncement. You are responsible for checking, with the office that issues the marriage license, what the law requires of you and of the ceremony, and for completing and returning the license.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are entitled to share it, including details about the couple and other people, for the purpose of preparing the ceremony.

4. Price and payment

The price of each package is shown on the site and at checkout, in US dollars, before you pay; any sales tax or VAT that applies is shown at checkout. Payment is taken once, by card, through our payment provider, Stripe. We don't see or store your card details. Your kit is prepared after the payment is confirmed and is usually ready within 15 minutes.

5. Corrections and refunds

After delivery you can correct names, the date and place, pronunciations and typos, free, up to five times, while the kit is available. Signature rewrites are made by the same writing software and checked against your answers in the same way; a rewrite that can't be completed doesn't use up a round. If the kit doesn't work for your ceremony, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in our refund policy. If we can't deliver a kit that meets our standards, we refund you automatically.

6. Access and availability

You can download your kit for 30 days after delivery, after which it is deleted. Please save your PDFs. We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Your content and your kit

You keep any rights you have in the answers you give us. You allow us to use them only to provide the service to you. The kit is yours to use, print and share for the ceremony. Readings we suggest are in the US public domain; readings you choose yourself are your responsibility, including any permission they need.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to write anything unlawful, harassing or deceptive, to impersonate others, or to attempt to break or overload it.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the kit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in force when you buy applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
